Ten have always had a lot of filler.  Some songs even make you seriously cringe.  They also have a lot of pussy ballad shit, like real ballad stuff.  There is less of that on here, more straightforward guitar driven songs.  I hear what you are saying, I laughed at some of the phrases and passages that are clear rip offs of older songs, but I still enjoyed it.

And yes, it's not a heavy album - it's not meant to be. Still enjoyed it. And Chad, the only difference between this one and the last few is I enjoyed this one. Can't remember anything about it now but might just listen to it now. I have some ironing to do for the kids going back to school tomorrow. Single parent life sucks!

Is Schon producing and arranging? That might be your answer. I know he brought in Narada Walden to produce and drum but it doesn't sound like it helped. I kind of dug the first single but yeah this just feels like a cruddy b-side.
