In fairness, I listened to a song or two of the previous Sunrunner albums after the whole controversy started, and yes, they sound nothing like the new one. So I understand the frustration. Maybe they should have renamed the band...or started a new band altogether! We all know Frontiers has no problem doing that...

I hit halfway through and had enjoyed it as something different from him. I think I’d have preferred a male singer or two in there to break it up a bit.

The worst part about Heart Healer is the lyrics. The singing and music is good, but the lyrics and melodies aren't cutting it. It reminds me of Genius.

From their 2002 album Right The Music. Nothing will really knock your socks off with this track, but it has nice heavy guitars, cool chord voicings and progressions, etc. Also has that cool atmospheric intro then drums/bass come in, then guitars, that I enjoy in this genre.

Well, Genius isn't bad at all... if not for the spoken parts, I'd rate pretty much all of it between reasonably good, and most excellent.

@ Jon... Spotify has In the Wake of the Storm up there. That any good?

My memory of Biloxi is a quality band (worth checking out) but also plenty of filler. Pretty sure I played a song off their debut in a hard rock rarities podcast (in the B's) - probably Run For Your Life- but good to see them get a mention in here. Moon Doc in the album thread

Jon sent me a Moon'Doc song in my first roulette I think it was. Watching Your Way. Still probably one of the 3 best songs I've ever been sent in a roulette.
