I was very late to the Oddyssey party. I thought Trilogy sucked (still do), then I saw those horrific promo shots of JLT and Yngwie, coupl ed with the horrid Heaven Tonight. I had no interest in it at all. It was only about 5-6 years ago that I gave it another chance, and the album as a whole is incredible. Heaven Tonight is still weak, but the rest is incredible. It's JLT at his absolute peak.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Heaven Tonight is by far my favourite from the album. :lol Killer '80s track.
And I have been listening to Eclipse and Fire and Ice too, and I think I prefer Eclipse to Odyssey. What little I heard of Fire and Ice wasn't as good though.

Cautiously optimistic...............although just because Matt Sinner is involved doesn't ensure great songs .  Some of the Sinner (band) stuff is bloody awful.

If anything, Karlsson will hopefully be involved.  They seem to be a pretty tight team lately.

I'm a big fan of Eclipse, first couple of tracks excepted. F&I was very poor by comparison to what went before.

For me it was always Demon Driver and Judas but I like most of Eclipse.  I agree that Fire and Ice is ordinary but I know Kade likes it.

Judas is a cool one too, but I also like most of the album anyway. Devil in Disguise is another good one, tuned down and heavier.

yeah.....Devil In Disguise is cool.   And Save Our Love has probably his best constructed solo IMO .

That song hasn't really clicked for me yet, but I dig all of the guitar work. I've only had the album a day or two yet. I'm just glad to have some more music from my favourite era to check out. I haven't had a chance to discover a lot of music recently.

Harem Scarem trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFlWfBfAfkM

I dig it.

Sounds solid - as always.  I am/was a huge fan but nothing since Believe has really grabbed me in a big way......all quality but gets to sound a bit the same. Weight of The World was good in a "modern rock" sorta way.

No doubt the new album will be a cut above most of the stuff around the place and for that reason I'll buy it , if only to support the band.

After Chad pimped it so hard, I downloaded it, and found it extremely generic.

Sounds like we need a Harem Scarem round in your roulette too!!!

Nah, I can see you point Tim.  If I was listening to that as virtually the first introduction to the band, I'd be pretty 'meh'.  But, I've got a soft spot for HS.  Can't say I've ever heard someone say Mood Swings is far from generic, then again, Winger is awesome too...

Tastes:  Not everyone has good ones.  :lol

Just don't send Tim a song from Harems alter ego, Rubber. That was brutal.

I think perhaps a couple from the first might return, like Ralf and Russel, but I think Magnus might focus on getting mostly new singers this time around.  Other singers that he has worked with that could potentially be included;

Jorn
Tony O'Hora
Michael Kiske
Amanda Sommerville
Bob Catley
Mat Sinner
Harry Hess
