A Great Big Pile of Leaves v. Winter Tour 03/01/12 - 04/01/12
« on: October 31, 2011, 11:21:38 PM »
I know that I've exposed a few people to these guys, but it's time to get the rest of you. They're a great indie band from New York with some of the catchiest music ever recorded. I share them with pretty much everyone I meet, and I have never heard anyone say anything bad about them. The best part? You can most of their stuff for free from their website https://agreatbigpileofleaves.com/. So check them out. I promise you won't regret it.

I forgot to mention that they have two acoustic EPs that come out today, so you should totally order them! Just go to https://topshelfrecords.bigcartel.com/artist/a-great-big-pile-of-leaves, give them some money and wait a couple days and BOOM! (pun intended) you have to amazing EPs. On vinyl of course. Or if you're short on cash you can stream them here https://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds/spinner#/7 and here https://www.altpress.com/features/entry/premiere_a_great_big_pile_of_leaves_live_from_the_living_room_ep, so what are you waiting for?

Interesting band name.

I forget the exact story as to how it came to be, but it came down to AGBPOL and something else, and they went with, obviously, the better one.

Yeah I agree with this, it's kind of crazy how accurately they named themselves given their sound. Nice stuff.
