Although granted, computers are one of the most efficient pieces of commercial technology in existence.

For what they do? Hardly. Computers manipulate information, like the brain, only that the brain does thousands more computation with 20 Watts, whereas computers of comparable computing power essentially need a powerplant next to them.

Which is why I said the most efficient pieces of commercial technology. The brain isn't a man-made commodity...yet. :P
