The primary is the election for the eventual presidential candidate a party puts forward. If you want Paul to actually be the candidate running against Obama, he needs to win the Republican primaries.

They determine which candidates get the nomination of their respective party.  In the next few months,  each state will vote for a douchebag Republican candidate and the winner of the primaries will move on to the general election where he faces the Democratic candidate; ie: Obama.

I guess it's good that it happened now so that the Tea Party can get back to fellating Rick Perry.  I'd really like to see the division in the GOP continue.

What I found hilarious is the guy trying to blame this on liberals. LOL! Really? Polls show Obama beating Cain by like 15%, or more. Probably Romney or Perry, because they're the ones who want to beat him in the primaries. Just the same old lame attempt at trying to blame the "liberal media."

Yeah. There was a clip with Ann Coulter blaming it all on liberals saying "there is nothing mroe the liberals dear than a black conservative".

Such BS. Juan Williams had to come in own her on that topic. It's CLEARLY an effort among conservatives to bring him down. And for a good reason too.

Yeah. Cain would be actually good for Obama as an opponent since he would be much easier to marginalize than Romney.
