I don't have BF3 yet. I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW.

I was going to buy it but then £20 disappeared out of my account. Most likely bills D:

I'm really hating all the huge maps in this game.
Then you're playing the wrong game.

Amazon UK don't appear to do digital download purchases but I've got next day delivery for free on Amazon so I've ordered a physical copy for £10 cheaper.

So, a few hours ago I was just thinking: "Hmmm, I ordered BF3 at 6pm(ish) and it's about 9pm now. There's no way it's going to arrive tomorrow".

But low and behold, I get an E-mail telling me it's been dispatched at 12:42am. I didn't even know Amazon delivered that late :omg:

I don't have a PS3, Xbox360 or a decent comp, but I love reading all of your exploits.

Are you all playing it on PC or a console?

Most of us are on PC. Here's a story from last night. I'm flying a Russian jet. After I disable an enemy chopper, I get into a dogfight, which I ended up losing after about 5 minutes of doing some Top Gun shit. He hits me with his missiles and I parachute out. I see an enemy tank on the ground so I guide myself toward it. Took a rough landing in a bush but popped out right behind the tank, which I ran up to (while an engineer was repairing it, no less), planted 3 C4 charges, and destroyed the tank, the engineer, and the driver inside.

the engineer is a real person obviously engaged in repairing the tank...do they not see you/sense you/hear the charges being planted?

Unless you actually see him, there's no way to know C4 is being planted. Although there is a scanner you can unlock in the tank to tell you when enemies are nearby.

Yeah, I did that. It didn't work.

I had to delete all of my PB files and replace them with someone elses to get it working.

Yeah you did. It asks you to install it when you install the game. You need it to play on about 90% of the servers.

The funny thing is I was standing right next to him. I considered just shooting the guy but I thought the humor factor in pulling off the detonation with him standing there would be worth it :lol

the "tank repair" thing must be something he has to stand by and wait for a meter to fill or something....that is a bad way to die though.

I had my first real decent game last night.  I blew up to Mcomm stations and finished in 3rd on my team.  I'm definitely getting better at this game as time goes on.

The thing that happened yesterday was after a while of playing my graphics started to stutter.  I wonder if my system was just getting overworked for playing too long, but that doesn't seem right.  I think it might just be that one map that bugs everything out for me.  Caspian border i think its called.
If anyone in this thread judge him; heyy James WTF? about you in Awake In Japan? Then I will say; WTF about you silly?

Nice, how were you playing?
Just running and gunning. I got probably 5 or so plants on bombs throughout the level. Most of them were diffused. I can attribute most of my kills due to the fact that the defense took us down to within 10 tickets of losing before we were able to move on to the next base. It was probably the longest match I've played on BF3 so far.

And add me to the OP, 'R3dOctober92' on 360.

Are you finding many people who are playing rush and conquest as if it were a deathmatch, RMV?? It's unbelievable the amount of people I've seen playing those modes the completely wrong way! Yesterday I got into this lobby where everyone was like that and I, with only 10 kills, racked up over 7000 points while everyone else (including a guy with 28 kills) got nowhere near close to 5000.

There are some people that they are playing it that way, but I think the majority are playing it the correct way. Even if you get 25+ kills and still under 5,000+ points, then you could still run into A LOT of enemies without getting any diffuse or plant points. There are a lot of ways to get kills and points in this game.  :corn

Some people, however, need to seriously watch that video IGN put out about how to play BF3 correctly. Maybe that might take strict deathmatch people out of the fold, which would be cool. It's all about the team goal!

I should've pointed out that I had 10 kills but most of my points came from taking the flags. I was literally the only running around the map doing it on my team.
