I have a feeling I'm going to be entirely lost when I start playing multiplayer, having never played BF at all before. You guys make it seem like there is tons of shit to do! Does the single player do a good job of introducing you to all the game mechanics, or is there like a training mode or something?
DEFINITELY worth going through the single player. Before Bad Company 2 I'd never played a shooter in my life and went online straight away and, unexpectedly I guess, just got shot within 15 seconds of spawning pretty much. So I then went back to the single player, played through it on easy, medium and hard and by the end I'd class myself as pretty good online
so yeah, certainly worth going through the single player, apparently it's a bit linear in BF3 but it's still cool, it'll introduce you to parts of the game such as recoil, destruction etc and let you adjust to that before going online
played the Beta and it was awesome! CANNOT wait for this game - it's released 2 days later in Europe though which sucks
what's everyone's favourite map so far?
