Cool thanks!  I just had some pretty good games.  I ended with a good score in all of them.  I was blowing up quite a few Mcoms in the last game I played.  This game is so sick.  It's challenging too.  The environments are just unreal.  So much fun.
And we got new maps coming Tuesday for PS3 and then a week from Tuesday from everyone else! More enjoyment!  :tup

I have very much enjoyed this game, but for me, new maps are too soon. The maps are so large and dense that I havent had enough time to really know the maps well enough to indulge in new ones.

It's been about two months since the release. I've been playing since day one and I think its still a bit early, but not panic-worthy early. I think they're trying to capitalize on the great success that BF3 has had since it's release.

I too feel like they're trying to capitalize on the success and get that out early, also, it should be free to 98% of people that own the game so I don't mind it at all!

If your copy of the game has "limited edition" written in some place, then it's free. I say should because only the first run of the game was branded as limited edition. So if you pre-ordered the game or bought it in the first 2 weeks, it's more than likely that yours is a limited edition.

I got my limited edition for $40 through an amazon preorder.

Still I think it's a bit early for new maps. Imagine getting this at Christmas and knowing that there's already extra shit you have to pay for to get everything? Sucks (for them).

All four of them are.  I don't really consider this as a typical DLC release though and since it was considered a bonus for pre-ordering, I wouldn't have minded having it on day 1.

I don't get it, it's just more maps, more vehicles and more weapons. And it's not like they're brand new maps, they're all from BF2.

Wait, its not just maps, but weapons and vehicles?  Thats more than a map pack if you ask me.

There's new weapons and vehicles being introduced to the game through these 'recycled' maps (for lack of a better word and which are from BF2).

Is everything going to be integrated with the main game?

Yes, everything is. It's not separate as BC2: Vietnam.

You chose CQ, Rush, whatever and the game will cycle through all the maps. And you can do the "assignments" to get the new weapons on any map and it will count towards the unlock. The new vehicles are restricted to the B2K maps, though.

Also: The "I Love the World" song, BF3 style!

I played for a bit last night and got to play Sharqui Peninsula and Strike at Karkand. Conquest is automatically played as Conquest Assault in the B2K maps, which means that one team starts with all the flags and 200 tickets, while the other team starts with 250 tickets.

Destructibility is waaaay more pronounce here, more akin to BC2 and there are 5 flags on consoles at least on those 2 maps.

I played a whole lot yesterday and it was awesome.  I unlocked a whole bunch of stuff for the m416.  I'm using the foregrip, supressor, and holographic scope.   I was finally having some really good games.  Also, Hardcore mode is pretty awesome.

I was playing squad rush for the first time, and I really liked the way that works.  It would be a ton of fun with people you know if you were all talking on skype.

I can't join any games since the patch. It loads the map and everything and the game launches but then It just says disconnected every goddamn time. The one game I got in booted me out right at the end.

Man I just had some great games on the new maps.  My average score for a round keeps getting higher and higher.  I'm playing really well now.  I love this game.

Yeah they are pretty sweet.  A lot more armor and jets in these ones.  It's pretty sick.

At first the game was saying it wasnt installed.  But I just ignored it and played it anyway and it worked fine.
