PRS for some reason. I don't play guitar, but I love the sound I hear when someone plays a PRS Guitar

Being a fan of 60s music I love the jangling Rickenbacker guitars (The Beatles, The Byrds, and later on Tom Petty and Paul Weller).

Also the Rickenbacker bass guitars are really cool, check out Geddy Lee and Chris Squire (Lemmy too) for proof.

Zydar is my new hero.  I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.

This is a tough one. My most treasured guitars are my Ibanez, Schecter and PRS (which I have named Angelina, Jennifer and Natalie :heart ) and I love them all. However, my most recent love is Natalie, so for now, I'm gonna have to go with PRS.

To the very far-right is my Ibanez RG (Angelina).
Below that is Schecter Hellraiser (Jennifer).
And on the very bottom is my newest love PRS SE (Natalie).

how does a PRS SE feel and how much did you buy it for? although its a budget model, i heard there are rave reviews on it  ,i've never really got to try one out

I love the feeling of it. It's very "playable" with a lot of feeling. It's easy to get a good vibrato or bend on it. Also, the EMG's provide for a nice, tight and warm sound. I also like playing around with the switch when using clean sounds, and only use one of the microphones on either one of the humbuckers. Makes for a twangy, Strat kind of sound.

It's been a long time since I've owned an electric.  The last one I had was a Fender Strat.

I would love to get a new one, but I don't want that Fender sound anymore.  I am enamored with some of the selections and options offered by Carvin.

The object of my passion is my Guild D-55.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

It's odd, but I've always switched between Ibanez and Fenders.  Two very different sounds, but excellent nevertheless and both very versitile.  Went with Ibanez.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

PRS although rickenbacker comes a close second on the list.

My personal favorite which isn't on the list is Taylor. I love my two Taylor acoustics.

I really just love Ibanez guitars. I'm a big S Series fan. I cant decide between the Ibanez S470 and the Carvin DC400 as to which one is my favorite though.

When I first started playing guitar all I wanted was an Ibanez guitar but after playing many in my time I never found one I truly loved. That said the S series is nice.

Ibanez, definitely. The Iceman is easily one of the sexiest guitars ever conceived.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

1. PRS
2. Ibanez (Almost tied with PRS)
3. Carvin
4. ESP
5. Washburn

JP should bring back one of his lovely Ibanez guitars at least for one song in DT shows. They were awesome.

if you included Music Man, i would've voted for that. all of the brands you listed are just massive mass-production companies that don't make 'real' instruments. the old PRSs are very nice, so I voted for that

Hahahaha my Fender Strat would like a word with you.  Also so would my Schecter 7 string.  Fantastic REAL instruments.

I own a Dave Mustaine ESP LTD DV8-R (the guitar used on 'The System Has Failed'). I gotta say it is absolutely flawless for metal. A real gem. It does lack versatility, but it works well all around.

It's a little tricky to answer for me...I don't get into stock Fender basses, but as a platform for mixing/matching factory and aftermarket parts, I absolutely love them.

Gibson.... which produced the guitars those history-shaping rock musicians played....

I've been listening to those musicians and legendary bands for years and with my increasing interest in rock over the years, I can see most Gibson models are irreplaceable in the guitar world and Gibson guitars are among the most innovative designs since the greatest such as Lennon, Page and Slash and also countless musicians of the new generation have chosen Gibson products and guitars inspired by the Gibson designs....

one of my musicians noted one day:

A lot of musicians are seeking for the characteristic Gibson qualities like the signature Les Paul tone, the wild SG looks or the innovative designs of the Explorer and Flying V.

heh i don't really like ibanez , ive owned a mid range rg and tried some prestige models, didnt really like it, especially the ones with the basswood bodies , but its the wizard neck that really gets to me,

the prestige models arent bad though , but i can find a higher quality guitar for its price

I certainly won't argue the impact of Gibson. Actually I was heading to England over summer and saw a very cool documentary about gibson guitars.

I don't find Les Paul's that nice to play on, although it's certainly personal taste. My buddy had a beautiful, breath taking Les Paul that he let me play for a few months, just didn't like it. I'm very picky with guitars :lol
