I can't wait to get my hands on this, though I'll probably wait for a 320kbps-rip.
Also, will most likely order this one, but I take it the whole box-set is available on CD as well?
Seen most people talk about Vinyl, so get's kinda confusing, but if it is available on CD I'll order it, and if so, what does it cost?

You'll pass up 256kbps for 320kbps?

LOL

also, the complete collection is only available on vinyl, not CD.

Yeah, there's no audible difference, I don't get it

Also, I think White has ascended to being my favorite EP, at least for now.  Every song is absolutely lovely on it.

Zep, any chance you can get in touch with Casey and find out if he knows what the hell is going on?

Zep, while you're at it see if you can get Casey to meet me at the Pittsburgh show.  I'd like to add him to my (small) collection of musicians I've had my picture taken with, even though I generally hate having my picture taken.

Well, I didn't know that it was 256 kbps, most web-rips seem to be 192.
Also, really lame that it isn't available on CD, but oh well.. the band's loss.

Just buy the digital version.

To reiterate my point that was lost on the last page:

Either way the price for the digital download is an absolute steal.

I'm not much for buying music digitally tbh, I really want a physical copy of an album if I'm paying for it.

I agree with this. I'll buy the compilation CD and some merch to make up for it.

I don't like it either, but I wasn't going to buy a watered down version.

I bought the mp3s from Amazon, and I've had no issues up through the end of Blue.

I'm also loving this.

Lol.... yup.  By an amazingly unlikely coincidence, there's actually a DIFFERENT person in the fan club who happens to be named Chris Lind.  Although it has the benefit of making me stand out a little bit... both Casey and Nick mentioned it to me the first time I spoke to them.

@DTVT - Casey is like super fan-friendly.  I'm sure he'll be hanging around after the show.  The last time I saw them when the were headlining in Brooklyn, after the show ended, instead of going backstage, the entire band literally just hopped off the stage and mingled in with the crowd to hang out and meet people.

What the hell, Super Dude?  Violet and Black last?  I thought you were a super dude.  More like a super lame dude now.

Y'know I'm entitled to my own opinion, and hey, maybe Violet will grow on me but I felt like it was overly bombastic and got bored.  As with Black, the only song I liked was This Body.  The concept itself was cool (where Black is concerned) but it didn't translate into songs that were able to sustain my interest for very long.

Indigo is my early favorite.

I also joined up at LATR.

BUY THE VINYL.
Yeah... no.

Anyways, I'm on Green right now. Yellow is easily my least favorite so far. It's all very good, but it's quite a lot to take in. Orange and Red were my favorites, but Green is very good so far.

Gah, need more listens.

I couldn't find any of these guys cd's in store on the weekend.  All they had was another band called DeerHunter, but their cd's looked shit!  I looked everywhere.  What's the first album I should get from these guys anyway?

Begin with Act I.  Not just because it's the best, but because it's the beginning of the story.  You're in for a treat!

Just listened to the whole box for the first time, this is so amazing!
Obviously a lot to take in at once, so I can't really pick favorite EP's or songs yet, but overall I feel like this is a 5/5 release.
