It is. :D

Indeed. Have you heard Migrant? It's my favorite from them. Highly recommended.

I have not. Other than The Color Spectrum, I've only heard the first few songs from Act I. All four albums are on my list, though.

I think The Collapse Of The Great Tide Cliffs is my favorite song so far.

I'm interested in getting some TDH stuff, would y'all recommend I get Act I first?

Act I if your looking for their more proggy side, The Color Spectrum for their more diverse side or Migrant for their more friendly side.

For what it's worth, I got The Color Spectrum after hearing the first two songs from Act I, and I love it.

I think, after listening quite a few times, the Green EP is my favorite. Also, I'm sure you guys did this ages ago, but since I wasn't here then, here's my favorite song from each EP

Black - Never Forgive Never Forget
Red - Deny It All
Orange - A Sea Of Solid Earth
Yellow - Misplaced Devotion
Green - The Inheritance
Blue - The Collapse Of The Great Tide Cliffs
Indigo - What Time Taught Us
Violet - Lillian
White - No God

Acts II & III > I    by quite a margin, i'd say.

That would be my ranking as well, I think. Maybe.

Act I is short but every song is so, so great.

I > III > II

Act II is still good, but it's so freakin' long, it's impossible to enjoy in one sitting. Especially after "Red Hands", it gets pretty slow and just drags.

The only release they have which has been lackluster imo was Migrant. Color Spectrum is probably my favorite still, considering how diverse it is, and how well they pull off different styles.

I do really like a few tracks on Migrant, but I agree that's it's definitely sub-par compared to the Acts and Sprectrum.

I like 1-2 songs from every EP, but I still think The Color Spectrum is one of the most bloated releases I've ever heard.

I think if you take the best 12 tracks off the Color Spectrum, you'd have their strongest album. Unfortunately, there are a lot of not so great songs on it as well.

Migrant was a little step back , but it was still one of my favorite albums of the year.

Migrant was one of my favourites of the year as well, and is a great album. The main thing that feels slightly lacking about it for me is that it's by far their most straightforward album, but it's still lovely. I think I'd rank it around above Act I, but a bit behind the rest.

Migrant was, aside from maybe one song, completely forgettable. Even that one song was just 'hey, this isn't bad' and not incredible or anything.

Biggest disappointment of 2013 for me.

The Acts are good but The Color Spectrum varies from genre so you can't compare either one.

So, in doing my required ProgNation at Sea pre-listening, I'm on to TDH.  Just fired up Act III... and ironically, it has been exactly 2 years to the day since I listened to it last.

Why, I ask myself?? These albums are so much fun.

When you start there, it's good. But I'm always gassed by the time I get to it usually, so I just wind up losing focus.

I have that sometimes as well, where you just start listening to other stuff, and sort of forget about some albums for a while.

But, that really makes it even better when you listen to them again.
