From a recent interview with Casey;

CC:  After the string of dates with Anthony in June, I am going to focus on a new album. I have been away from home a lot more than normal in the last year, and I have been away from the studio for what seems like a lifetime. I can't wait to get back to writing and recording.

Q:  When can The Dear Hunter fans start getting excited for Acts IV, V, VI to start being recorded

CC: To be honest, I don't know. I don't think Act IV will be the next project, but in all honesty I can't say until I’m sitting at a piano

I read that interview. Not really sure what to make of it.
Will Casey be involved in TRE nr2?

Not sure.  He's pretty busy these days.

The most important think I take out of that interview is "new music this summer".  Tbh, I don't really care whether it's Act IV or not.  As long as we're getting new music, I'm happy.

I gotta agree. TCS was so strong that I don't really care what he wants to do.

I'm hoping for a brand new concept. I'm not really a fan of stories dragged on several albums. Most of the times anyway.

I get what you mean. I feel a bit the same on the subject actually. No offense against the Act-albums, because I think they're great, but it's something that could go on forever. Act 4, 5, 6 and so on, and I guess it could be cool with something else.

Just ordered my ticket for Casey's solo show... May is gonna be intense.  :D

Are you gonna be there Chris? It's kinda weird how they booked the show a week before the TCS show, seems like it will make it a lot harder for people out of state that wanted to hit up both.

Nah... too tough for me to make it up to Boston for that.  Boston is really hard to do in one day... it's usually an overnight trip.  Should be a pretty cool show though.  I think Cafe 939 was one of TDH's "regular" venues back when they were still based out of the east coast.  That's where they played their 2008 holiday shows.

I think that was Andy Hull in the video.  No idea why he was in it but none of the members of TDH were.  Still pretty cool though.

:lol music videos are so stupid. The drop out could have worked if you didnt have to wait 30 seconds, plus it came back in at a really random point and didn't work at all. The gunfire and explosions were way louder than the music and distracting. What is even the point?
