That show was amazing. Never seen a more enthusiastic crowd before. Went on stage during Red Hands. Sang like an idiot. So good.

I think that was just a thing for this show since it was being streamed. They didnt do it in CT or any other show, I think..

It happened the last time they played the Knitting Factory too last September.  At that show, they closed with Red Hands and Rob started inviting people up onto the stage until the stage was flooded.  So this time around, it was just a bunch of the same people, so we all just wanted to do it again.  The first guy up there was a guy named Dan who is pretty good friends with the band and has been following them forever, so once he got up there, everybody who knows him got up there too, then the rest of the crowd joined in.

Just get the Digital.  You can burn them legally and print the book since they give it to you.

Each EP's cover comes in the digital booklet.

Yeah, digital is really the only other option anyway.  There's no CD version of the full color spectrum.

Oh, that Casey....

Last night in Philly Kay Kay was on stage, and my buddy had walked away to hit the bathroom... so I'm just chillin' out towards the back and groovin' along to the music, and completely out of nowhere Casey totally sneaks up behind me like a super-ninja and all I hear is "Aww.... you look so cute dancing here... all by yourself..."

Hey guys, I was wondering: How is the quality of the digital version? And where is the best place to buy it? It's on itunes and amazon but I didn't  see a more "official" place to get it..

I pre-ordered mine on iTunes, but I think I remember Casey saying something about he'd prefer people to buy from amazon.com.  Someone please verify that statement.

I got it from Amazon simply because the download is higher quality.

Yeah, I think the only places to get it are amazon, iTunes or through the download card with the vinyl.  Not sure if they really have a preference between amazon or itunes though.

I might actually prefer the CD sampler over the whole thing... I'm a big fan of short, concise and diverse albums so yeah. Maybe I'll change my mind down the road though. Also the Black EP is my favorite.

So right before the two last songs (Filth and Squalor and Red Hands), Casey kicked the rest of the band off the stage and played two songs by himself. He played Things that Hide Away and Black Sandy Beaches. Right before he played them he says "Yeah, so we have a day off tomorrow, so I don't care if I wear out my voice." The crowd went nuts.

That version of Black Sandy Beaches was literally the greatest thing to enter my earholes. He went for some ridiculous high notes and nailed every one of them.

Basically all hail Casey :hefdaddy :hefdaddy

Sounds like an awesome show.  I saw them four times on this tour and didn't get either of those songs!

If they pick up a little more traction maybe a slightly bigger band will be willing to take them overseas as an opener...

They're definitely growing.  They've sold out a whole bunch of shows on this tour so far.  I think the most recent 4 or 5 shows have all sold out.

Without a doubt.  I've never seen them draw such large crowds, and you can tell that the guys in the band are all pretty exited about how many people have been coming out to see them every night.  The buzz around them is bigger right now than its ever been, and it seems like it's only going to get bigger.  I think the fall tour with MO will give them another serious boost too.

Black Sandy Beaches.

SO JEALOUS. One of my favorite songs on Act II!
