Halloween Costume Thread v. Do The Windy Thing
« on: October 18, 2011, 10:32:37 PM »
I know we have members of all ages here so...

Who's planning on dressing up for some Halloween occasion?

I plan on going to a party as the guy in my avatar. My costume should be done within the next couple days, I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I can.

Anyone else? Tell us! Post pictures!

No plans to do anything that would require me dressing up. If something does come up though, I want to dress up as Eddie Valiant from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and walk around all night handcuffed to a stuffed animal Roger Rabbit

Gotta work, dressing up as a chef Security Guard.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I'm glad you posted in here Billiam since it reminded me of a very funny story. Two years ago one of my friends dressed up as the guy in your avatar (sans Saiyan) and saw this ridiculously hot black chick while we were walking in the French Quarter. With him being in black face he asked her "So ya ever been with a black man?" (she was on the lighter side of mocha and fairly whitewashed in a manner of the way she looked) and she flatly said "I am black." He drunkenly tried to improve the situation which just got more and more  by the minute and we all guffawed (except for poor ol' Rob of course  :lol )

I'm dressing up as a demon. Can't figure out what I'm going to do exactly though, I don't have any of the stuff! Not sure what outfit I want, I just know the make-up. And I need white contacts. All in time for Halloween. Dang. I'll post pics...of my make-up. I don't do full body shots, they are always embarrassing  :|

The bulk of my costume is mascara, nail polish, goth boots, and fishnet gloves, plus my typical black clothing. I think I'm going to a party on the 29th.

I'm probably going to have to work every night surrounding Halloween weekend so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to go all out and get 'dressed up' but I definitely have enough random shit lying around the house/in storage already that I can make up a pretty decent costume without trying too hard.

:lol  I try.

Actually, if I REALLY wanted to go 80's, I'd break out the black women's 3x blous-y kinda shirt I've worn on stage sometimes.  It's actually pretty rock and roll.  In fact, I think I just MIGHT wear that this weekend.

OK so we got a white cloak and dress and spattered it with fake blood. I don't think I'll get contacts in time for Halloween but just as well because I borrowed my mom's just to see and god they are annoying. I can't waaaaaiiiit!!!

Oh, that's not me. Saw it on reddit. Looks like they have upside down waste bins covering the bottom of their legs, and directly on top of those are shoes with holes in the soles to stick their legs through. I may just do this for Halloween.
