Not being a fan of the last two Kamelot albums I have to say: FINALLY. That artwork is gorgeous and I can't wait to hear this.

I hope Kamelot at least reins it in a little bit for their next album. Tommy's been a lovely fit but they've become so overindulgent with the concepts and symphonic sound that I've been itching for new Seventh Wonder for years and it's about damn time  :lol

About time! Always down for a good concept album. Hopefully they leave out the terrible dialogue that really hampered my enjoyment of Mercy Falls.

Looking forward to it!

About time! Always down for a good concept album. Hopefully they leave out the terrible dialogue that really hampered my enjoyment of Mercy Falls.

I wouldn't mind some dialogue, but I'd have to be 1) better acted, by someone that speaks proper English and 2) not placed in actual songs. Make it small separate tracks, like, say, Blind Guardian did with Nightfall in Middle Earth. But overall I do prefer storytelling through the music.

Agreed... the content of the spoken part wasn't the issue, it was the delivery.  Both the Dr. and Wife were awful.  Plus putting Tommy's vocals behind some of those parts was a terrible idea.

Kind of sounds like something from Mercy Falls (maybe the song itself).  I really like it.  Tommy sounds so much better here.

Hell yes! I liked it a lot! So excited for this release. I liked the cheerful vibe of the song. Tommy's vocals are great here, refreshing to hear after new Kamelot.

I'll be getting this album for sure.

Albums been done for awhile and the record label had delayed it to not compete with Kamelot so I'm guesing that's why.  The band had been pretty vocal on facebook about this and it was known a fall release was going to happen after the last delay.

That makes sense. And I suppose it does fend off the questions about when the album is coming out.

The "Tiara's Song" video just popped up on YouTube for me. Man, I'm super excited for this album!!  I am constantly impressed with this band, especially Tommy's voice (he'd be a great Gabriel), and Andreas is just an insanely good bass player.

I really like this band, especially compared to Kamelot. Wish it was more of a priority for Tommy. Love the new song and can't wait for the new album.

Tommy's natural range really shows here. He's not out singing for Kamelot trying to sound sort of like Khan.

Anyone else get error messages when trying to pre-order one of the bundles?  I e-mailed the company -- no word back yet.

I've been on a Seventh Wonder kick lately and I noticed that the song "Inner Enemy," for which they released a video in 2014, isn't on their upcoming album.  For those of you who are hardcore fans, does this song appear on any official releases by the band?

It does not.  I'm surprised it didn't make it on Tiara.

In fact, it does, just not on a studio release. It's on their official live release Welcome to Atlanta, played as an encore.

You are incorrect sir!  It's on the Welcome to Atlanta CD/DVD set, which has their 2014 PPUSA Mercy Falls and Day 2 sets.  You get a Live version on the DVD, and studio version on the CD.

I have the DVD and even forgot it was on it.  I always thought that song was meant for the upcoming album, but kind of glad it's not just since it no longer is a "new" song.

Thanks for the info on "Inner Enemy," everyone!  On a separate note, I've been really listening a lot to the 30-minute epic title track from The Great Escape.  I was curious if anyone has an opinion on what this song is about?

It's based on the poem Aniara. I've never read the poem itself though so I don't know how close the stories are to each other.

I've only ever managed to read bits and pieces of Aniara, but the song is a decent enough summary of the poem. It's more like Iced Earth's Dante's Inferno in that it's not a 1:1 adaptation, but it gives you a pretty solid general idea of what happens.

Not sure about the vocoder parts, but the rest is gold, the chorus rocks.
