Tangerine Dream - Movements of a Visionary
Well this was certainly different. The ethereal beginning really threw me but once the song picked up I can see what it was setting up. The song kind of meandered, to be honest, and while there were some cool parts it just didn't hook me. Did work with the video, although the beginning made it somewhat humorous because of how that part is written.
Perpetual Change
Bon Iver - Woods
I must admit the vocoder really threw me right as soon as the song started. I didn't quite get 100% used to it but the layering was really cool throughout the song, especially where the song picks up. Matched the video very well in a serene kind of way, almost the perfect type of music for the scenery.
Nekov
Anathema - Everything
As with Oceansize I've heard very little material from this band but I can definitely see why people like it. The instrumentation was very good, especially the piano lines and I really liked the interplay between the male and female vocals. Fit the video very well.

Oceansize - Ornament/The Last Wrongs
I've heard very little Oceansize but I do see what I've been missing and it sounded great. The contrast in dynamics throughout the song was perfectly paced and the individual sections were damn cool. This went along really well with the video, especially the beginning part and the softer sections.

Bersarin Quartett - Mehr Als Alles Andere
Classical and electronica? Very unusual but you seem to know my tastes by now and I really dig this. The beginning was a nice little prep for the middle part where each part of the song kinda goes off and does its own thing. I might have to check out more of this kind of stuff. As with the rest this matched up with the video very well.

Anathema - 2000 & Gone
I was a little hesitant when I received two Anathema songs but I decided to see how they'd stack up. I must say I liked this one a little more and it's probably because of how laid back the song was. A very nice listen and worked well with the video.

Her Name Is Calla - Pour More Oil
Man this was just majestic as hell. Great build up, awesome somber mood, great layering. Reminds me that I need to delve deeper into the post-rock genre more. The mood of the song matched the video very well.
