I'm not reading any posts unless they are ones that quote me because I am really scared of spoilers - I guess one spoiler can ruin the entire rest of the show. Anyway, only have season finale of season 2 left to go. Season 3 is already in the mail :).
YOU BETTER BE LOVING MR. EKO!!!
How can you not love mr eko? My favorite characters atm are Sayid and Charlie. At episode 4 of season 3 right now.

Episode 5 is sad for me.

Who else here really enjoyed Ab Aeterno?

One of my favorite episodes.

However, Across The Sea was a major disappointment. I was hyped for that episode too  :-\

Ab Aeterno on its own was kinda neat. I kinda wish the show had done more episodes like that.

Really didn't like the characters of Man In Black and Jacob so many of those centric episodes in Season 6 were pure boredom, especially Across The Sea.

I think Season 6 was good, but it took a while for it to get better. The last few episodes, aside from ATS, were great.

I don't really mind the whole anticlimactic/not everything is explained kind of closure that shows and movies can have. As evidenced by the last three seasons of LOST I think it actually works in the show's benefit to end at the end of Season 3. I see it as: Jack screaming that they have to go back to the island as everyone else finally getting closure now that the ordeal is over but Jack is the only one who has suffered. Even with the opening of Season 4 where you get a recap of what the characters have been up to before they go back to the island it just feels like one of those unnecessary sequels.

Actually, it would be a pretty epic end. Don't mind some mystery.

Still watching the rest though.

I'm just starting the last episode now after powering through all 6 seasons. Never saw the show until a few months ago. I can't wait to immediately start watching it over again! What a ride this has been.

Wow, thanks for reviving this thread, Chino!  I just started the series from the beginning on Netflix.  I've seen the whole series before, but it's been a while and I'd forgotten how awesome it was.  Although I wonder how much I'll enjoy the later seasons, as I was pretty frustrated with the show while it was still airing.

There is only one thing  I didn't understand ...

why didn't Ben go in the church in the finale? Was it because he wasn't on the plane that crashed? And also, where was Micahel?

I too just finished the show after not seeing it since the finale aired and even if it's sometimes gets a little too messy and ridiculous script wise it's still an amazing show. The well in depth backstory parts and episodes of all the characters and to follow their decisions and fate is what's really interests me.
