I just started "The Associate" by John Grisham. If this one is like Grisham's others, then this will be great!  :tup

I really need to read his most recent couple books. I've loved everything else he did, but I haven't read anything past The Last Juror.

I'm currently reading Fahrenheit 451, although I have to for Pre-AP English. It's actually a very good book though. I should be finishing it up today, and then start another book in a few days.

Without Fail by Lee Child.  I just started it.  I'm almost through all of the Jack Reacher novels.  If you haven't read any yet - get cracking.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

451 is unquestionably one of my most favorite books ever. Definitely amazing.

I agree. I will most likely be starting The Lovely Bones tomorrow, and that will conclude my summer reading  ;D

Started Brave New World yesterday. For being written in the 30s this is pretty fascinating.

Yeah, excellent story.

I concur with both of the above statements. I read it solely because of the Iron Maiden album and song of the same name (the album/song was based off it), and I was pleasantly surprised.

I started reading Afterdark by Haruki Murakami two days ago. After having read the first three chapters, I can't wait to continue. I just love Murakami's writing style.

Just picked up "The Golden City" by John Twelve Hawks.  It's the third book in hi Fourth Realm trilogy, and I've been waiting a year and a half for it.  BTW I highly reccomend this trilogy to anyone, I killed the first two books intwo separate sittings(Traveller and The Dark River).

Just finished House of Leaves not too long ago and now I'm onto The Alphabet of Manliness by Maddox, and extremely easy but funny read, I haven't laughed out loud so much while reading in a long time.

If you like his website then you'll love his book.

I loved that book, although the last few chapters seemed rushed while the very early years (pre-Aerosmith, in their childhoods) seemed to drag on. Great read though, lots of interesting stuff there!

I'm reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Pretty good so far.
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

I've got a few short stories left in S. King's Everything's Eventual. Started it a while back, but didn't get through all of the stories. I like how he gives little introductions about when he wrote each story and where he got the ideas, more authors should do that.

GREAT book. Check out Anansi Boys, too, if you're so inclined (and haven't already).

I just finished rereading Clive Barker's Imajica. I last read it 10-12+ years ago. Still a masterpiece, though I personally prefer Weaveworld.
