I was at all three of those shows.

As was I!

I also saw them at the Gibson on July 2 last year.

Can't wait to see them again  :metal

I was going to go to the Gibson show (seeing as I live in Ventura County and Studio City is a hell of a lot closer than Anaheim) but the show at The Grove was on my buddy's 21st bday. Had to do it :metal

Nice!

I got to see DT on my birthday in 2011 at the Nokia. And the new album is coming out one day before my b-day so I'm pretty stoked.  :metal

Hope they keep playing the Grove. Love being front stage and center.

I love the grove! I love how small it is. I was so close, I could practically smell JP's balls.
Check out my various music projects - I’ve got concept albums, singer/songwriter, rock, metal, prog, and more coming soon:

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

The first time I seen them was a very long time ago in the old cat house in Glasgow then recently in the braehead arena then the secc then the Clyde auditorium.but I have to say that last gig in the Clyde auditorium I didn't like so much there is something about that venue that just sucks the soul out of any music played in it. Personally I would love to see them play the barrowlands!!
The creation and destruction of harmonic and 'statistical' tensions is essential to the maintenance of compositional drama. Any composition (or improvisation) which remains consonant and 'regular' throughout is, for me, equivalent to watching a movie with only 'good guys' in it, or eating cottage cheese.

Is it the same one as on DIME? If so, I have have it. That's actually how I found out about my parents being there.

The Moore, Seattle, WA (Evening with), 3/2/04
Universal Amphitheater, Los Angeles, CA (Opening for Yes) 9/19/04... Yeah, I flew down to LA just to see DT!
Wamu Theater, Seattle, WA (Progressive Nation '08) 5/5/08
White River Amphitheater, Auburn, WA (Opening for Iron Maiden) This tour isn't on MP.com... weird.
The Moore, Seattle, WA (Trivium opening), 9/27/11

Yup, the purple place's archive is missing the March '10 South America tour and the IM tour. A pending update that was aborted after all that came down, most likely.

I do! I´m Brazilian but lived in Australia for a while, so I had the chance to see DT over there and also in Tokyo. I love to combine vacations with concerts or other kinds of events, and this next time in Spain will hopefully be great as well. My wife is not a DT fan at all, but she´s excited to go over there and have a look around.

Malmö 1995
Roseland Ballroom 2000 (yes, the dvd show, front row for the first set:))
BB Kings 2002, the 6doit wamup show.
Beacon Theater 6doit show #1
Beacon Theater 6doit show #2
Stockholm 2007
Stockholm 2009
Stockholm 2011

All great shows, the first one was fun because it was held in such a small club and my dad and I got to hang out with JP before hand for a radio interview my dad did.

The Roseland Ballrom show was very unique for all sorts of reasons.
