Remember, when you are dead, you do not know you are dead. It is only painful for others.
The same applies when you are stupid.

My list is way too short

Toronto x1 (August 2007 at the Molson Ampitheatre)
So fking tired of being an oversensitive naive moronic fkin bitch. I CANT STOP IT. I CANT CHANGE. IM STUCK. This world eats me alive. My purpose is simply to be what others shouldn't be. A shriveled fking beacon of sad energy. I have lost. I am lost.

Y U NO C DT MOAR?
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

That's cool  It's a pretty cool state, I know it quite well. I've lived in Monmouth, Union, Ocean, Somerset and Morris County at different points of my life. I actually miss it a lot now that I've finally left, been in France for the last year and a half for my studies. I finally finish school in December so I can go back to complaining about Jersey once I get back  :lol

Sorry for derailing the thread though, carry on  :tup

It's probably gonna be a while before Dream Theater (or anyone else) is seen at Jones Beach again.  It was hit pretty hard during Hurricane Sandy.  Much of the orchestra section was underwater.

Denver - Pre-ToT Tour (Queensryche co-tour, first DT show) (2003)
Dallas - Systematic Chaos Tour
Fort Worth - Systematic Chaos Tour
Austin - Systematic Chaos Tour
Austin - ADToE Tour (2011)
Austin - ADToE Tour (2012)

I'll regret never going to see them for Octavarium, I think they only went to Dallas/Houston and no Austin that year which is why I missed it. But I guess they just came around with Gigantour in the states.

AND WHY DIDN'T WE MEET UP?
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I was going to go to the Gibson show (seeing as I live in Ventura County and Studio City is a hell of a lot closer than Anaheim) but the show at The Grove was on my buddy's 21st bday. Had to do it :metal
