An amazing thing happened...

My girlfriend had a DT song stuck in her head while she was working...the chorus from BITS.  Totally not her style of music but it still got her attention.  I was so happy. lol  :metal

Even girls get BITS stuck in their head! I feel like the only one who doesn't see the BITS chorus as memorable. Yes, I can recall it if I think about it, but it never gets stuck in my head.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

That's funny, because my girlfriend got the verse for Bridges In The Sky stuck in her head a couple days ago.
She started to sing "Blackneeess awakennss..."

It was cute, especially since she has a lisp, so it was more like "blackneesh awakeennsh"

I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I just have to point out that having something stuck in one's head is not necessarily the same as actually liking it. 

There are several songs which I find annoying exclusively because they always get stuck in my head.

So, ask your girlfriend if she LIKES it?  =D

Agreed, but i know she does. :-P She actually loves the ballads on the album too.
