Anyone hear about the Governor of Oregon? He's stopped all the executions in his state.

The first thing I thought was "Oregon actually kills people?"  After reading up on this situation,  I'm actually real cool with executing somebody who doesn't mind being executed.  He should have let this one go through and then called for the moratorium. 

edit:  after seeing Orbert's post,  it looks like he shouldn't have called for the moratorium at all.  The all volunteer capital punishment system is a fascinating idea.  I'll have to investigate it further. 
Argument, the presentation of reasonable views, never makes headway against conviction, and conviction takes no part in argument because it knows.
