Been trying to find some stock pictures of my baby (cos I'm too lazy to do my own) but can't find an exact pic.

It looks like this

but the fretboard looks like this

and at some point before I bought it some Phillistine put a Kahler locking trem on it. If only I could go back to the original tailpiece... I used to love the trem 'cos I relied heavily on the 80s whammy tricks at one time.
Needs a bit of work doing and I haven't played it in 20 years. It just lays there in the velvet lined flight case looking neglected and beautiful.

I also have a USA Yngwie strat in surf green, flamed maple neck, and a white Ibanez Jem Jnr which is my "go to" guitar.
Got a Peavey 5 string bass too.

Just bought my first guitar! I've been a bass player all my life, but I've been writing lots of music on an acoustic lately and bought myself a used Hagstrom Swede!

My Ibanex RG 350 DX. Had it for 2 and a half years, it was used for 2-3 years. I got it for my birthday in 2009(when these pictures were taken, there's a notable absence of my acoustic Squier to the left). I love it to death :heart

I have the exact same Ibanez, color and all. I just replaced the pickups with EMGs. I was actually playing it earlier.

A red RBX-JM2? Are you sure? I don't think they came in that color. Unless you're talking about a non-JM signature RBX... :tup

Or was it green? Hm, my memory is quite poor. May very well have been green. But it was definitely a John Myung bass, inlay and all.

Yes yes, that would be it. Still not 100% on the color, it's been like 10 years. But yea, I miss it whatever color it was.

Recently got my hands on an original JPM Ibanez.
Good to have two guitars again since I sold all of my axes to get the EBMM and start a collection of dream guitars...

(sorry for the crappy iphone pic)

Currently on the waiting list (which is epically long, unfortunatly) for a custom Vik Duality 7 similar to this one:

Can NOT wait!

Lol!

Don't bother, when I'm not playing them I have them monitored day and night while they're locked in a steel vault on a secret lair surrounded by a moat with trained sharks swimming in it.

Also, did I mention the sharks have friggin' laser beams attached to their friggin' heads?

Haven't posted here since I bought my newest guitar, an Ibanez S570DXQM. It's beautiful, plays like a dream, always stays in tune even if I'm abusing the tremolo and is just the most completely reliable guitar I've ever played.

Fine, you can keep the Ibanez, but I want that newer model MM. I already have 4 music man Petruccis, and I could always use another pretty one like that.

Cool, which ones? (tried to find pics in this topic but couldn't, maybe I overlooked them..)

I'm on the lookout for an early MM JP7 model, preferably a white or desert gold version.. Not for right now though, but it's on 'the list'..

I love the looks of RBX6 JM2 basses. One day I'd love to get one.

Pics of my preciouses will be coming at some point over the summer, when I've got round to uploading them (I have pics of them, but they're not up to date: ie. I modified one of the basses).
This is as exciting as superluminal neutrinos. The sexy thing is that this actually exists :D

Clavinovas are so cool.

My sister and I both played the piano when we were growing up, and she took lessons for years and years.  But then she got married and moved to the west coast while I was still at home.  Eventually, my parents sold the house and moved to a condo, and I got the piano we grew up with.  I still have it.  Years later, my sister told me how jealous she was that I got the piano, because she misses playing so much.  But since she and her husband live in a condo (no kids), she'd resigned herself to never having a piano, never really playing again.  She had no idea that there are "fake" pianos out there with weighted keys and which sound really good.  She just knew that she didn't want a junky 88-key plastic thing, and that's all she knew about.

A few years back, our mother died, and I played a piece for my mom at her memorial.  I didn't want to at first, because the guy said that they didn't have an acoustic piano, but an electronic one.  I said I'd think about it if it were a Clavinova or maybe a Kawaii, and he said it was a Clavinova.  My sister seemed surprised and a little confused by this.  Then when we got there, she saw it and got to play it.  I pointed out the volume control and headphone jack, and told her that it would be perfect for her, living in a condo.

A few weeks later, they got a Clavinova.  A nice one.  Somewhere, our old piano teacher Mrs. Rosekrans is smiling.

So I went to the pawn shop (as I do on occasion) and fell in love with this guitar.  That was Wednesday, and I bought it today  :metal

Parker P-42

Pawn shops are great places to look for and find instruments.  My first bass guitar was a pawn shop find and I still have it, 15 years later.

My Guitars:

An Ibanez SGT acoustic

A Hagstrom Swede (Like Scard, only mine is white.) It has a Dimarzio Evo 2 in the bridge and a PAF Joe in the neck.

A PRS SE Singlecut Tremolo. It now has a Liquifire and Crunch Lab combo.

I don't have any good pictures of me playing my trumpet, but it is a Bach Stradavarius.
Perhaps you should ask bosk to reverse the "e" and "a" in the second half of your user name.

This is the kit, the drums are a Ddrum AMX kit and cymbals are Zildjian.  I kind of had this shape in my head (along with some inspiration by Derek Roddy) about how I wanted my drum kit to be set up.  I'm a natural lefty playing a right handed set up, so I had quite a few options, but most of the placement decisions (like the 12" tom in the middle) came from necessity; the bass drum is just too large to fit anything deeper than a few inches over it.

Left to right: Ibanez S series, standard tuning. Laguna, drop D. OLP baritone guitar, standard B. Ibanez RG series, open C tuning. Ovation celebrity, always changing the tuning on it. Fender Prodigy, I've recently repainted and fixed up, and now I have it tuned to standard tuning in E flat. I also have a Kramer XLI, which isn't pictured. I have that in a weird tuning that I think I made up. haha. I have it written down at home.

Just picked up my brand new EBMM JPXI-7! I did not buy it do play DT stuff though (let's just say I don't have 6 hours a day to practice), but the guitar is exactly what I want. 7 string guitar that works for metal as well as the obvious (to me) funk and has a piezo.
