That's good. Stone Sour aren't that bad.

Stoned Sour is quite terrible as is MP's decision to associate with them. I can deal with the marginal music but Corey Taylor is almost bordering on Fred Durst levels of crappiness. They sound nothing alike and I'd take CT over FD any day but that ain't sayin much.

Not a fan, but if he's happy I'm happy. (Kind of like Avenged Sevenfold, A-Mob and Metal Masters. I did enjoy Hail! though).

Shitty side project of Slipknot singer.

They're actually not bad, and although I didn't like the new album very much, I thought the album intro (Audio Secrecy) and the song that followed (Mission Statement) kicked ass.
And it's actually not Corey Taylor's side project - he was in Stone Sour before he joined Slipknot.

Come What(ever) May is a highly enjoyable album for me.

Just post a youtube link to prove me wrong. I'll actually listen and give open-minded feedback. Maybe you'll change my mind. I did actually like Bother until 106.7 The End murdered it in late '02 through Linkin Park-caliber overplaying.

It's a great album.  :metal

And the other two albums also have their share of excellent tracks. This sounds a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing the videos on youtube after the gig.

The sound is horrible, it's such a shame given that the video rules.

I agree with this. Stone Sour's first album is basically a tolerable version of Slipknot. Great album. Come Whatever May isn't as good as the first one, but it's decent. I haven't heard all of the new album, but from what I've heard, it blows.
Gadough isn't Hitler. He's much, much worse.

Agreed.

MP with Stone Sour is cool. SS is a solid band. Didn't like their most recent record all that much, but Come What(ever) May has some gems on it.

Ray (SS's drummer) should be back on the drum stool shortly, however.
