Yeah, it's kind of like trying to get into DT even though you hate I&W and Awake.

That's not an apt comparison.  Regardless of what you think of them, very few DT albums sound similar.  Someone who doesn't care for I&W and Awake could enjoy FII, ToT, or SC because those are very different, or any of the ones not mentioned because they are different enough.  The biggest different between IE albums seems to be which vocalist is on the album, because musically the formula is basically the same (themes change as well).

Kade is right, that shirt is horrific.  Who would not only pay money for that thing, but wear it in public.  Terrible.

Amen bro.  I'd actually be a bit ashamed to admit I like IE if they are going to release rubbish like this.

I used to have the Stormrider shirt that had FUCK POSERS on the back. I thought I was so badass with it on. One time at Bass Pro Shops the manager asked me to turn it inside out because BPS is a family place. The last time I ever wore it was at Wal-Mart when I was getting my hair cut. I turned around while waiting my turn and this woman holding her baby was giving me a concerned dirty look. It actually made me feel really bad about wearing it.

I'd still love a normal classic non Disney Stormrider cover shirt without the text on the back.

The sad thing is, I probably would have bought either of those 10 years ago, because I thought I was so cool wearing offensive shirts. Funny how much we change.

I saw someone wearing the FUCK POSERS shirt get the shit kicked out of him at an Opeth concert. He was moshing and knocked a girl over. She got up and went like psycho ballerina on his ass. Just spinning and bitchslapping him.  :lol

I used to own offensive t-shirts when I was younger-I had a shirt when I was in my early 20s that had a hand pointing out of it and YOU SUCK! written over it, and fuck did that get me into trouble-but even younger me would've balked at buying the Fuck Posers shirt.

Worst offensive t-shirt has to go to Seb Bach - anyone remember that?  I haven't posted it as I don't want to offend , but if you saw it you'll remember.

Well the unwritten rule of moshing is to help up those who you knock down, so the guy deserved it. And yeah, wearing a shirt with FUCK in big letters was quite stupid... not quite as subtle as a Wheel Of Fortune Go fuck yourself shirt with the vowels missing.

Oh yeahhhh that shirt. That's...pretty close to the record holder. Probably is. Cradle of Filth had a shirt that was about that vile that read "Jesus was a C-Word"

Depending on your beliefs, that one might be the winner.

Perhaps, but I think the Seb Bach shirt is definitely the more all-around offensive shirt. I can easily ignore a shirt insulting my religion; a shirt that wishes death on a group of people requires more effort.

Iced Earth is set to begin the writing process of their 12th studio album in spring 2015. After a short hiatus, (primarily due to founder, chief songwriter, and guitarist Jon Schaffer’s 2nd cervical fusion surgery), the band is planning their schedule for the remainder of the year. Iced Earth fans can expect the next album, tentatively entitled "The Judas Goat", and the subsequent touring cycle to begin in early 2016.

Schaffer comments on his recovery and the direction of the new album, “The recovery after this surgery has been more difficult than the first time around in 2000. Although there have been a few setbacks, I am confident that I’m ready to resume my duties in Iced Earth, directing my full attention to the creative process, production, and touring future of the band.” Schaffer continues, “We are looking forward to songwriting and getting back in the studio. The creative direction of the new album is rife with intense and heavy emotions, as one would expect from an Iced Earth record, as well as a wide variety of lyrical inspirations and themes.” “I am 100% confident that the bond our band has forged in these last several years will shine through in the music. It’s a brotherhood in every way, and the fans will feel that. I couldn’t be more proud of these guys and everything we’ve achieved together.”

Long time drummer Brent Smedley will be returning to the band for the recording and touring of the next album cycle. Smedley had to step down due to personal family reasons in 2013 shortly before the recording of Plagues of Babylon. “We are very pleased to have Brent joining us once again; he’s always been a brother and an important part of the Iced Earth legacy,” says Schaffer.

Iced Earth is sure to please fans from all eras of the band’s illustrious history with this next offering of unadulterated heavy metal.

Oh balls.

Also, I really hope he changes the title.

Once you know what a judas goat is, it's not so bad. It's still fucking silly for an album title though.

A judas goat is a goat trained to lead sheep to be slaughtered.

I had the Guns n Roses shirt with the girl on the floor as though she had been raped by the robot, from the inside cover of Appetite. A mate bought it at the same gig and I remember he got serious shit for it one night when we were in the pub from a woman. She tore him a new one about degrading women. Looking back it was fair ewnough.
