i mostly like anarcho-punk and crust punk and shit like that

Not huge into punk music... but Rancid and Operation Ivy are pretty cool beans

There was also a local band called Public Uproar that put on some great shows. They haven't done anything since 2009 though. pretty sure they disbanded.

like all of their songs are about how cool it is to have a mohawk and shit which isn't really the punk ideology but it's fun stuff haha

I think Punk (and Punk related genres) is what I listen to the most. Some of my favorites are

Infest
Lack of Interest
Negative Approach
The Fall
Discharge
No Comment
Ramones
Bad Religion
Minor Threat
2 Minutos
Pig Destroyer
Excruciating Terror
Crossed Out

and Hüsker Dü, but I prefer their Pop-ish alt rock era over the Hardcore one.

haha how is it out of character i was really into punk early on in high school and shit, was a big casualties fan at the time too haha
