Savatage - The Wake Of Magellan

That was 1998, according to Wiki.

Actually, it was only released in the US in 1998; in Europe, Japan and everywhere else, it was 1997, so I'm counting 1997 as the proper year of release.

Now I don't know whether to vote for it in this list or the 1998 one.

Well, remember that Savatage's alter-ego, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, released The Christmas Attic in 1998, so as far as I'm concerned, that album can count as the Sava-Trans release for '98.  All the more reason to vote for WOM in the 1997 poll.

Yngwie Malmsteen- Facing The animal- the last decent album he did, other than the Concerto Suite
Danger Danger- Four The Hard Way
Axel Rudi Pell- Magic
Royal Hunt-Paradox
Ten- The Robe

A poor year- not much essential here at all, but these were ok but  just missed out

Pat Boone- In A Metal Mood- has to be heard!
Megadeth- Cryptioc Writings
Stratovarius- Visions
Symphony X Divine Wings
Rhapsody- Legendary Tales
Shania Twain- Come On Over

Good to see someone else is a Ten fan.  I have only gotten into them over the last 6 months.  The Robe is amazing, and the title track is probably my fav song from them.

Great song. Best album for me is Spellbound, although there is a very dodgy Yngwie-Crystal Ball rip off on there. They were very hit and miss after this, though I know a lot of fans like Babylon it didn't do it for me.
