9. Leprous - Bury

What was the lead single from Coal? The Cloak? If so, you are nuts. :P

If it was Foe, I'm okay with this choice.

It was Chronic

Yes, Chronic. I appreciated a lot Chronic in the live version of the last livestream, but for the studio version Bury can win by a close margin.

I thought so and that would have disqualified In the Dark, but Flag was the second. The lead single was The Last Amazing Grays and I'm not that fond of that song.

I friggin love TLAG until the Nightwish wannabe orchestral part starts. Although that part isn't bad either. Song just doesn't need it.

Imagine farty 80s synth sounds over a punk drum beat and Phil Collins singing “was it you or was it me or was it ‘e or she” with a cockney accent over and over again.

Well, you sort of got it already.  Genesis - English prog legends, known for the 23-minute Supper's Ready, the double-album concept record "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway", but who had been increasingly moving into the pop arena with songs like "Follow You, Follow Me", "Turn It On Again", and - from the same album as "Whodunnit?" - "Man On The Corner", then released this punky, quirky, three minute sound collage of synthesizer, drums and guitar and an improvised lyric that meant, basically nothing.
