Let me preface this thread by saying, I do NOT watch this show. A couple of weeks ago however, while flipping through channels on my TV, I happened to hit the wrong button (seriously), and it came on just as this guy began singing, and my finger froze on my remote control. I was blown away. I have since then intentionally taped this show JUST to see this guy sing. He is now in the top 10 (hopefully top 4). I know very little of his humble beginnings, other than he works at a car wash in West "by God" Virginia, but MY GOD I hope he gets his full 15 minutes of fame and wins this stupid show, if for no other reason than someone takes a chance on this guy. His whole thing reminds me of what happened with Susan Boyle. I would buy any record, or go to any concert he put on. This guy has a very strong talent. Check him out. Love his voice. He basically channels the Chairman of the Board.

Wow.  I don't want to come off as a racist but I never thought, when I saw him that it would be that style of music and how great was he!! 

I saw Harry Connick Jr. with his bluegrass rock/funk band and I was blown away how talented he was.

This Murphy guy can sing.

I honestly started laughing so hard I cried the first time I ever saw this, which was live. I, sadly, enjoy this show.
