There's a big difference between accepting that you're overweight and embracing that you're overweight. Acceptance is fine, because you're being honest with yourself and you can still decide to change your appearance if you want to.

Embracing it is just stupid. You're being proud of something that's not worth being proud of at all. It's unhealthy and to most of the population it's unsightly. I'm trying to think of a positive aspect to being fat and I can't think of any.

I get that some people are just plain overweight. Some people have slow metabolisms or other conditions or diseases that make it extremely difficult to lose weight. And that's fine. But those absurdly fat people who are proud of being fat, disgusting and unhealthy really annoy me.

My thoughts on Steve Jobs are about as negative as one can get, but at some point human decency and respect for the life of another human being, regardless of your opinion of them, have to kick in. Honestly, that's not that offensive. I find the "I guess he didn't eat his Apple a day lol" jokes to be more unnecessary. Saying it's a good day today because someone died is just...so lame and uncreative that I can't be bothered to care.
