Apollo 18
« on: September 03, 2011, 09:43:12 PM »
I just went out and saw this movie.  I thought it was one of my favorites of the year so far.  Great acting, a really cool and well-executed plot, and a great ending.  Has anybody else seen it, and if you have what did you think of it?

This movie has gotten nothing but terrible reviews.

Being postponed four times and having a review embargo until release is never, ever a sign that a movie is going to be good.

Yeah, as soon as I hear a movie wasn't screened in advance for critics, I'm going to be pretty wary of at least spending any money to see it.
Photobucket sucks.

Saw it for free the night before release thanks to some theater buddies. Also saw SHARK NIGHT 3D the same night.

Apollo 18 wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be, but nothing really special either. I enjoyed it at least. There were some genuinely suspenseful moments that worked out well enough, but on the whole I'll probably forget about this movie entirely in a couple weeks

Shark Night was lol

Couple of guys go on a space mission and run into trouble.  That's all i can say without giving it away, also the critics are wrong, it was a great movie.
