Bilateral is a masterpiece in my opinion, Tall Poppy Syndrome is another awesome album. Tall Poppy is more progressive metal oriented and less experimental than Bilateral. Coal and The Congregation have both great songs, maybe you will like those albums more but for me are a bit weaker than the other two

Bilateral is insanely good, but I've really been appreciating the The Congregation more and more lately so that's a close second. I love Coal as well, but for me TPS takes the last spot because of it having the only Leprous track (not counting the EP and demo) that I actually don't like, which is the title track. The production is a bit of a bummer as well. Other than that, TPS is still a really good album.

With Devin and BTBAM?
I like all but I don't think I'd go to see them if Leprous weren't with them.

It's with Dev and Tesseract in the UK. I'm not too fussed on Tesseract, I'd rather see just Leprous support with a longer set. I'm hoping they might announce a headline show whilst they're over here.

I didn't pay for the DVD but I purchased the old EP Silent Waters signed by all the members of Leprous in 2004. I spent  almost 80 euros and I would sell it at the same price. I saved the three songs on my pc and I only wanted to hear the old tracks, I'm not interested on having the physical cd at home. It costs a lot, I don't expect to sell it easily.

The album is more or less on the same level of Aeolia (I was prepared for something worst). In the first two tracks I feel that almost 2 minutes could be cut, but every song is interesting, even if the songwriting is not too mature in some parts.

Collapse is my favourite followed by Beauty Of Death, and they would be in my personal top 5 of the songs of Aeolia and Silent Waters combined.

Pretty good live album. I think it is a bit short and there are no songs from Tall Poppy Syndrome nor Aeolia. The setlist could've been better.

But it's not a surprise that they don't do anymore Tall Poppy songs live. And Aeolia is even disliked by the band itself.
They said that they want a coherent show, and the old songs doesn't fit well with the new ones. I won't be surprised if they will cut also the remained Bilateral songs they still play live when the new album will come out... (Tall Poppy and Bilateral are my favourite albums of them)

I hope so! I have listened it two times live and I would like it remains in the setlist.
Instead I don't like too much the new version of Acquired Taste, I prefer the studio one.

They are the only two songs of Bilateral they have played in the last tour, and Acquired Taste seems something out of Coal album in the new version. Forced Entry is the last one survived for me.

For me there is nothing more coherent than playing songs from all the albums (if possible) in an intelligent order, so that it flows nicely, with equilibrium of heavy songs and ballads.

^ That's why I didn't list Acquired Taste, it's not unlike stuff from Coal and barely resembles the original version.

I've only heard Bilateral and I love that record. Are they currently touring the U.S.?

For those who have seen them, what sort of set have Leprous being playing in their DTP support slot?

How long (roughly) as well?

You can see it on setlist.fm. In case you don't want to know exact songs I'll just say there are just songs from last two albums and their set is 35-40 minutes long.

Yea, that's what I did right after posting this  :lol

I'm a bit disappointed they are only playing stuff off their last two but they are also playing a few of my faves so can't really complain.

Noooo :( I was really looking forward to seeing Forced entry or maybe Thorn live.

Eh, should be great anyway

For Thorn you should have seen them four-five years ago. Forced Entry still gets play-time every now and then. Who knows, they might do a different setlist later in the tour.

I can't really complain though. I've seen them play pretty much everything, but it would be nice to not see The Congregation and Coal for once.
