I normally think these things are kinda cheesy, but I never think about it from the standpoint of the kids who get to participate, then I realize I should quit whining because I am just jealous of them for having such an awesome experience.  Way to go TDoL!

Saw Foreigner this summer playing a festival in Germany ( https://p109795.typo3server.info/loreley.html ). They were the winner of the weekend, hands down. What an experience it musta been singing with them!!  :tup :tup

Congrats....This was something they did at every venue this tour. My sons choir was going to enter a contest that was being held to perform that song with them as well, but at the last minute his choir director pulled the plug because school was still out for the summer and a lot of kids couldn't commit had they won, but they rehearsed for several days leading up to the tape submission. It sounds like it was a lot of fun. What a unique experience.
