Special brownies?
Any particular recipe that you followed?
Not special brownies...I haven't had any sugar all week and I think I feel "high" because I need some dang protein now
But the brownie recipe was as this:
You need 5 eggs, stick of butter, pound of chocolate, pinch of cream of tartar
-melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler
-separate eggs into two bowls (whites and yolks)
-beat whites with cream of tartar with electric egg beater til stiff
-beat yolks in 2nd bowl (order is important, can't get the yolks mixed in with the whites at that point)
-chocolate should be metled and cooled at this point. add yolks to melted chocolate/butter mix, stir to evenly mixed
-add 1/3 of the stiff whites to increase the volume.
-fold in the rest of the whites, don't just mix it in. takes a few minutes til you can't see any more of the whites.
-grease up a pan and pour in your mixture
-oven at 375, bake for 15 minutes
-what up brownies
I used dark chocolate so the sugar/carb count was considerably lower than what people consider as normal brownies (since i am eating primally and this was my treat for the week). Tasted good and sweet and moist, and i ate over half of it. my roommates tried it and liked it, so that was a plus.
anywho yeah i felt like i had so much energy earlier, i was playing songs on the piano and singing with soul haha and now i just feel high. really dunno why, thinking it is the lack of protein
