But seriously, I don't think he was a bad guy. He just made a lot of threads, what about that? People seem to be a lot bothered by this as if he was invading their personal space or something. His WTF threads were in my opinion funny in their own randomness, and if people didn't like that they could've ignored them.

I think the dude started to think people here hated him, so he left. That's something I disagree with.

I think that's what happened too.  And honestly, he did create a ton of threads, but I say live and let live.

I don't post here that often, but I'm always lurking, and I have to say that Aniland will always remain one of my favourite forum posters of anywhere of all time. "Aniland Threads" have become one of the highlights of my days. I don't have exciting days. xD

I will really miss him. :c He wasn't like the rest of DTF. He had different opinions. He liked that one thread I made about Dream Theater and names.

How can you have so much hate towards someone you've never even met in person and know nothing about. Sure he makes a lot of threads, but why does that bother you. It's just a forum.

I feel this is quite a sad situation. I've heard more about aniland's supposedly silly topics than I have seen them. It really feels to me the community, regardless of how he behaved, did not treat him very well...
