Also, I'm starting to notice there's a lot of 5/4 and 5/8 on this album. I guess the guys were really feeling the 5-meters a lot during the writing sessions!

Also, that MM fill near the end of the clip!!!! NICE! :hefdaddy

John Petrucci said that this song was about the powerful Persian army and how they are lost in time but will never be forgotten. Hence the Persian on a horse

I find those fills on the chorus(if it was the chorus) a bit much.  Makes the chorus lose flow and groove to me.  Reminds me of the chorus of UAGM with less flow, more filler.  Really liked everything after chorus though.
