Haha, thanks, glad you like it. It's actually still one of my favourite games, I guess I was about 12 when it came out. Those were the days ...

This is Tank Wars actually but Scorched Earth came out around the same time and was equally awesome, it just had some more options but looked pretty much the same.

Is it sad that I actually checked the numbers to see if they were correct, and was able to recall it up until half way through the math bridge? :|

What's the point in learning tons of pi (or phi) digits? Even if you're an eingineer you won't ever need to go further than the first "2"  :lol

Because the ladies love a man who can recite pi to them in the moonlight.

At least that's what my calculations tell me. I've never done any practical experiments with it.

Blob's last theorem  :lol   I shall try to give an empirical proof (or die in the attempt).

haha, fuck. this is awesome. at first i was gonna reply that just because i love math, doesn't mean i have pi memorized past the first 4 digits, but my current desktop is a picture of Pi expanded many digits so i will shut the fuck up.

No, it's a cool picture of....

you know what? Let me find the picture online and show you...

Dr. DTVT

I remember some DTF member was on a European game show and memorized pi to 400 places for some amount of money, and posted a video of it.

Nice one.  :lol

For a moment, I thought my lame ones killed the thread, thanks for the rescue. :tup

I'm less of a math nerd, but I know 3.1415926535897932384626433832795028841971693993 by heart. Back in high school geometry, I was bored.

The only reason I know pi to this many digits: 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944 is because back in high school my dad and I had a quick competition to see who could memorize and recite 100 digits first. I won within a half hour, but then I forgot the last 40 or so.
