TDH are good.  I really like a couple songs from Act 1, namely 1878 and City Escape.  I haven't been able to stomach the albums as a whole though.  I need to give it another go.

I've only really listened to The Color Spectrum, and I've played through Act's I and III a couple times, but I can say that they are one of the best bands around right now.

Also, great list so far. Can't wait to see what's coming up next.

Saw Choirs of the Eye, I know Sigz touches himself every time it's mentioned. I listened to it once on Spotify and it's pretty good but dense IIRC

Nice list so far, very diverse

30. Nick Drake - Pink Moon

Here is another Nick Drake album. Recorded mostly in single takes (except one song), this album proves to be one of the most haunting albums of all time. If it counts as one, I would definitely say that PM is the greatest singer/songwriter album of all time. It's also only like 25 minutes long, so its easy to just listen to it quickly without having to put a lot of time into it. For someone looking for some real, true honest music from the early 70s, you absolutely can not go wrong with this album.

Favorite songs: "Which Will", "Pink Moon", "From the Morning"

29. Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun

When it comes to PT albums in this list, there is just nothing I can say to accurately describe what they mean to me. It's not worth trying because the albums by PT I have picked here have changed and saved my life in more ways than I could ever even imagine. I'm also not going to do favorite songs for them because it would just be all of them.

28. dredg - El Cielo

dredg's best album comes in at 28 on this list. El Cielo has some of their best songs on it, and the flow from track to track with the interludes and whatnot make it one of the more dreamy and enjoyable albums that I have. I don't spin it as much as I'd like, but when I do  I always remember the first time I really listened to it, and I'll always think back to seeing them play some of the songs off this album live.

Favorite tracks: "The Canyon Behind Her", "Whoa is Me", "Of the Room", "Sanzen"
space cadet, pull out.
The only thing I enjoy more than Frengers is pleasing myself anally via the prostate.

27. Peter Gabriel - Up

In all honesty, this is probably the landmark album in my musical development as a kid. My dad bought this album when it first came out when i was like 10 or 11 and I loved it so much and it gave me such a great idea of what real music should sound like, and how to really utilize production and cultures to such a great extent that was done here. This is also the album that was the feature of the very first tour show I saw. The "Growing Up the World" Tour (I think it was called). Still remains to this day probably the most interesting concert I've been to. His live show totally brings the music to a new level.

Favorite songs: "Sky Blue", "Darkness", "I Grieve", "Signal to Noise"

26. Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet

holy fucking shit. one of the darkest and most thoughtful albums i've ever heard. there's plenty of haters but lol them. can't really say anything else other than wowowowowow.
space cadet, pull out.

thanks all

here's some more

25. Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven

This album is fucking insane. The first few times I heard this album I was so floored that I couldn't even get up. The four movements are all very, very, very good and there really isn't a single dull moment, which is insane considering its 4 20 minute pieces. Absolutely stunning work.

Favorite Movements: "Storm", "Sleep"

24. Genesis - Duke

Kind of insane that I have an 80s Genesis album this high up on my list? Maybe, but every time I listen to Duke, I am reminded how good 80s Genesis actually was. This album is also pretty proggy, which might surprise some. There are some songs and movements in here that are so proggy, and its awesome to see how they work in tandem with the more radio friendly songs. The sub story that takes place throughout the album is also pretty awesome.

Favorite songs: "Duchess", "Man of Our Times", "Dukes Travels"

23. Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3

Not their best, but still a masterpiece. When I first heard about this band, it was through the radio with "A Favor House Atlantic". Liking the song enough to buy the album, I decided to pick this up. I was totally shocked to hear how dark and complicated some of the songs got, and equally shocked to hear the other more straightforward songs on this album. Be it the dark and complicated, or simple and happy, there is not a single bad tune on this album, and it definitely deserves its place on my list.

Favorite songs: "2113", "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3", "The Light & The Glass", "Blood Red Summer", "A Favor House Atlantic", "The Crowing"
space cadet, pull out.
