So, I think there are some singers out there who when you listen to an album, you have a vague idea of how the singer looks. Sometimes, a person's voice matches what they look like really well. I think of Robert Plant when I think of this example. Now, there are some singers who look nothing like how they sing. So...here we go. I'll start.

I always imagined Maynard (Tool) as a twenty something guy with long black hair. And the Green Day singer, too, actually. Although when I finally saw them, it kind of fit.

And the blues is very simplistic and often overused without sufficient innovation.

At least the jazz composers who aped the blues progression over and over usually had the decency to you know, mix it up with various embellishments to the chord progression or an extra couple bars, or something really subtly cool like that.
