I'm in the food service, and we follow every health code rule very strictly.... Except no shave November.

Buy a beard trimmer. Its a lot simpler and more versatile than shaving.

Depends entirely on the person. Some people just look awful with facial hair.

well, not me.... but my favourite is tache... it grows well on me....

If I just stop shaving, the hair grows all over the place and feels really itchy, particularly on the neck.
oh bloody hell... yessss... I hear you :P

Mine isn't completely full (bald spots) and my sideburns suck.  The only time I grow the whole thing is when I get sick of shaving.  Most of the time it's just a mustache and goatee since those are the thickest areas.  It's possible to thicken the hair by growing it out and shaving it, then repeating.  My problem is, there's not enough hair to begin with and some places hair just doesn't grow.  :-\

My only advice is STOP BEING A GIRL AND JUST GROW THE DAMN THING! it will develop and once you have a start you can start trimming and shaping to what can only be described as manliness. i have an awkward bald patch under my beard but its hidden by it. my beard also splits into horns at the end. sounds akward but some people actually like it a lot.

but yeah just start growing and in a few months youll be able to tell if you can or not. Also you will hit an awkward stage with it, everyone does. KEEP ON GROWIN!

Sadly my beard is too thin and light to look good. Try to grow a goatee every once in a while but my stache area always looks weak. :(

My beard is quite pubey but its lush in places.  Growing beards is fun.

Kingshmegland has a very lush beard.

Thank you.  At first it was always itchy to grow a beard.  But over time (2 to 3 week period) it goes away.  Now it never itches when I grow my beard.  My advise,  don't shave for 2 weeks until or three until you can see how your beard grows in.  Then trim the neckline and trim to style your beard if you want a neat short beard.

I just don't shave, mainly because I don't like the after effects. Purely because I don't use moisturiser or anything and it bugs me and is all rash like. So, I shave as little as possible and I have a pube face, which is AWESOME.

Towards the end of April, I decided to grow a beard for the first time. I let it grow for about two months before I decided that I didn't like the way it looked so I shaved it off. After a few days, I decided to try again but to trim it a bit differently. It's been two months now and I'm still unsure about it. What do you guys think, yay or nay?

Screw you!

Seriously, it looks very good and is far more hair that I've been able to grow on my face.

@Global,

That's pretty good! How many weeks of growth is that? I'd be happy if I could get that myself.

You're only sixteen, you probably still have a fair way to go. :P

Two months. Which is why it's kinda scragglier in some places than in others.

I loved Jumanji as a kid but it's been so many years since I've seen it that I had to look it up:

I think a thin sort of chinstrap looks good on a few people.

However, Sigz's chinstrap/neckbeard monster is hideous and needs to go.

Grow your beard longer so you can cover up that ugly-ass logo on your chest.

I have a beard. I don't recall doing anything to get that beard. In fact, I believe it requires doing nothing at all.
Same haha, not as fast as Chino but mine grows averagely I guess. It would take me about 20 days to get what Chino has.

I'll test it out. I'm on about a week now.

I can grow a thin beard but because I'm naturally blond you can't even see it that well.

I can grow a beard rather quickly, but being that my beard comes in almost completely white and I still have a dark head of hair it doesn't look right..I can probably have a full beard in a week to ten days . As much as I hate shaving ( if I have an evening event to attend I find myself shaving twice that day) I much rather shave than deal with the white facial hair and the goddamn itching...besides my lady prefers a smooth ride rather than the mustache one.
