HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!! THIS is why LHK is the President of Awesome.
Why is everything you post the best thing ever said?
LHK is beyond EPIC.
What's an EZ board, you crazy old timer?
I just remembered that when you started a thread, it would already appear in the thread list, even though you hadn't submitted the body text yet. So, sometimes you would write a rather lengthy thread start, and by the time you submitted the thing people had already commented on the title (usually with useless comments of course )rumborak
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I don't remember it, since I wasn't a member back then. But I do remember that there wasn't a PM system, back on DT.net.
I'm thinking with the pursed lips, you could easily paint him up as Paul Stanley.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

I cannot recount the number of times there was a thread made asking why this was the case. There were also several hundred "@User" threads to compensate for the lack of private communication.
How have we survived with the loss of this feature
As frequently happens, Super Dude nailed it.

It's like the chat thread became pentacostal and began reproducing at totally-uncalled-for levels.

And then there was the censoring of all profanity, which everyone circumvented anyway.
