Three Ring Binders vs Notebooks

Another school year begins on the 29th. Although it's senior year in High School, I decided to try out something new and that is using a three ring binders with loose-leaf instead of notebooks.

My reasoning: Almost every sheet of paper the school gives you has the holes cut out already. Instead of cramming those into folders, why not keep them organized in my binder along with my notes instead of throwing them in a folder away from my notes. This new way just seems more logical. I see a lot of other kids doing it nowadays.

DTF, which do you prefer, 3 ring binders or notebooks?

I've always used 3 ring binders. Works for me.

3 ring binders.  They last, you can "edit" the page order, and they never look sloppy.  And you can reuse binders. 

I guess opening and closing the rings is kind of a pain, and you have to buy paper, but it's worth it.
