Every now and then I do this to vent on some things that are really annoying me. This seems to be an all media edition.
Why is Tina Fey better than Amy Poehler? I don't know why I would even compare them but it seems to me they used to work together for SNL or something.
I never sincerely laughed at a female comedian in a TV show, I'm sorry they just don't pull it off (except for   Sarah Silverman). But I'm getting to be a huge fan of Parks and Recreation in which Amy Poehler stars and writes, she's amazingly creative and her acting is genuinely funny.
Yet Tina Fey is somehow more famous and appreciated, why? is it because of the Sarah Palin thing? It can't be because of the Baldwin and the annoying African guy sitcom cause that show is just awful.
And while you're at it can someone tell me why people are now calling the pound sign # hash tag?! it's twitter twat related isn't it? now on CNN I see thing like #war on the screen and they don't even explain what the fuck that means, like every human being that eats, fucks and sleeps is already on twitter and is completely aware of the terminology. I do not understand what #shit is, it could be an irc channel for all I know.
The attitude that "you should already know this" makes me feel so pushed. It makes not try to find out how this works.
Oh and MTV is fucking disgusting, I know it has been for at least 10 years but boy it has been Cleveland steamer disgusting. I can honestly say that my tolerance to other people's taste in entertainment ends with MTV's reality shows. I've never really thought the meaning of the word Untermenschen made any sense until I learned that MTV's reality shows have very high ratings and is much more widely viewed and admired that I ever thought.
Can you imagine what it would feel like to eat 10 big macs within 15 minutes? It's the closest thing I can come to trying to describe how I feel about freakin vampires based anything right now. Especially if it involves guys wearing eyeliners. C'mon teenage girls how are you getting so dumb? teenage girls when I was a teenager were silly in their interests in a cute way but they're super smart compared to the current ones.

OP amused the hell outta me. I agree with every point pretty intensely. I stopped watching CNN at least five years ago as soon as I realized they came across like Access Hollywood making a shit attempt at credible journalism; far too much of the whole conceited mannequins with moving mouths acting as though people actually care for their horrifically bad attempts at witty banter. That network can eat my HPV-festering vagina I'm getting grafted onto the area that, until I made this post, had a clean-bill-of-health unimpressive weiner occupying it.

Dunno who brought hotness up but anyway I don't find either of them sexy. I can't get funny & sexy from a comedian, either this or that. Ironically with the exception of Silverman whom I'd do things to that are penthouse forum material. She's no model but her twisted playfulness and potty mouth appeal to me.

They each have their strengths.  Tina Fey is a better comedy script writer, while Amy is a very good improv comic.  I enjoy both shows, but I prefer 30 Rock over Parks & Rec and prefer the character Liz Lemon over Leslie Knope.

Since some of us are not even discussing it anymore and has shifted to their "How a douchebag contradicts you" manual so I'll take the shortcut and say No, Amy Poehler is a better writer and actress than Tina Fey (I'd say "in my opinion" again but the douches with the manual don't do that), twitter is turtle urine, Parks & Recreation is a way better show than 30 Rock and Silverman is very appealing to me although I stress that I understand how nobody might share my opinion on that last one.
I only saw SJP on posters since she hasn't done anything that might be tempted to watch but I agree with you, she's Brazzer porn clips material. Maybe BangBoat.
