Love is not the Dance of Eternity.  I agree with Mr. Petrucci on every single lyric in that song about Superman's hometown except for that one.

I mean, it's always bugged me...Without a doubt, the real "dance of eternity" is my washing machine.

The only reason Victoria watched and thoughtfully smiled was because she realized Edward's tighty whiteys were finally clean.

Petrucci had the same problem when his custom 7-string loin
cloths needed cleaning and his Maytag quit working before the leaves had fallen.  And for some reason, it was also before he locked the door.

(My apologies for another random thread - can't get me enough of some tittie twisting online shenanigans from DTF.

I only have 12 more minutes on my AOL account and I need to hurry before my Webcrawler cuts off.

Page me...

Hey Mosh - The Internet from 2002 called and they want their message board humor back.

The point to what I try to make a wee bit subjective (& fun, God forbid) is that sometimes, amazing DT songs come with kind of, I don't know, silly lyrics.  Don't get me wrong, I love 'em, know every word of 'em, & belt 'em out whilst singing along at every show...

But (yes, that is not a typo), they sometimes seem like such an afterthought...Like they were the very last thing added and/or worked on by the band.

Thoughts?  More insults because I'm "new" here?

None from me, just deep regret that people on the internet are more interested in getting a cheap laugh from a decade-old image than actually having a chinwag on a discussion board, that vacuous non-discussions like "in before the lock" get equal prominence with people trying to actually contribute something (however esoteric), and a hearty pat-on-the-back for the "not taking this bollocks" attitude.

Not to take sides or nuffink, but I'm basically on yours. This shouldn't have been a spam thread but nobody's said anything, offsetting the ratio massively. I would argue that it's a tricky post to respond to (I genuinely have no idea where I'd go from there!), but that's not an excuse to be a dick and drive it away from any chance of a proper chinwag - which could, god forbid, have been genuinely fun if the planets aligned correctly.

No hard feelings towards yourself, Mosh! I don't know you yet and I'm sure you're a perfectly pleasant lad. But in fairness, no matter how incomprehensible you might've found the OP, your post contributes barely a baby's fart's worth of content. The faintest puff. So I think you've put yourself in a bit of a glass house there, sport. :p

But christ! This has got very metatextual. And snipey. And even further away from the point. Sorry. I just see this all over the internet and I've always found it really frustrating. People with nothing to add volunteering to add it anyway. I suppose that's practically the backbone of a medium with no quality-control, but it's making me a little grouchy again, which probably means it's hiatus time once more. Wait for the album to come out first, though.

Ah well! As we were.

Because, for the most part, they are.

I agree with Rob that posts like Mosh's contribute nothing.  HOWEVER, best I can tell, this thread isn't actually about anything and is just a spam thread, which is also off limits.
