The video game box art game
« on: August 15, 2011, 10:26:47 PM »
Can you identify the video games from small sections of their box art? Answers should be the specific game's name, not just the name of the series. I realize that some games have different covers in different territories, but whatever. Have fun.

Looks vaguely familiar, but I've got no idea.

As a side note, does everyone else really not know Earthbound? Or did you guys just not list it because it had already been mentioned?

It took me a bit to realize it was Earthbound, which brings me to shame since it's one of my all-time favourite games.

Both. Don't know it (I just know the annoying little butterball in Super Smash), and even if I did, I never repeat answers that are already given.

Most of the answers in my post were quickly edited in as I went back to pick out the rest I knew. I'm pretty sure I had the whole thing finished before anyone else posted, but it's not really a big deal either way.

edit: SotC was the last one I edited in, so if Crimson got his post in while I was editing then that would have been one he beat me to. I'd just leave the listing as it is.

I'll give you and The King in Crimson co-credit. :P

It's early to give hints (the album cover game sometimes takes several days to finish), but I'll just say that 22 isn't an obscure game series.

Looks like a Kirby game.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. That 22 looks like it's a Japanese game.

I don't play Kirby games, but after doing some hunting, it's Kirby's Adventure!
