Was just about to post this. JR is a class act, as always.
No light at the end of the tunnel due to budget contraints

At around the 23 minute mark JR mentions that a new DT website is coming soon!

46 minutes? Well, here we go. Interesting interview so far, and it's nice to hear JR talk about himself, his life etc and not only about DT. :tup
... And you ask me: "Where's my hairspray?"

Definitely a nice interview. I went into it thinking "This is gonna just be about apps and stuff, we're not gonna get much about DT," but as it went on, I realized that since the topic was different, we got some insight into a different part of the band's workings than we normally do, instead of treading over the same eight or so questions about the band that JP, JLB, and even MM have answered already. Cool stuff.
Yeah, I have no idea what the cakeless person in that analogy is meant to be eating. If he's got some sort of cake substitute, it should really have been worked into the narrative at some point. As it stands, the options are:

  • Hoard a cake just to stare blankly into its doughy edifice.
  • Make futile chewing motions with your mouth while starving to death.

Thank you for it. I listened earlier and it was very fluid and I'm surprised I lost no interest after 45 minutes. :lol

Thank you guys for asking questions I care about, as opposed to people who only talk about apps.  Sorry to the people who only care about apps, just not my thing. It was a sweet interview, his best since around Train of Thought I believe, he had a really nice one with Ricky Garcia.

I love hearing about the business side of the internet and social media from people who take advantage of the medium well, and you guys had a great conversation with Jordan about that, so well done.  And thank you.

This is absolutely fantastic. I want you to do one of these every month or so. It's so compelling!

Incidentally, thought it was interesting that he said the website was being launched soon, rather than updated. Presumably it's gonna have a fairly hefty Web 2.0 type overhaul?
