im interested to see what the acoustic set / encore will be
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I would take "so far" out of the equation.

Beneath the surface today :( :( I guess that means we'll get Far from heaven tomorrow as it seems they rotate them. Both are wonderful, but Beneath.. was my instant favourite and I still can get enough of it. I really wanted to expereince it live, but oh well, anything will make me happy :)

Sorry, man.  But they can't please everybody.  Maybe they'll do a DVD at the end of the tour and you'll get to see it that way.

So if they rotate setlist like this, even if they are different for the european leg. I would get to see one in Offenbach and the other in Stuttgart.  :metal

I envy anyone who's able to see them on this tour. I'm just 3 hours south in Portland and couldn't make it up there due to work and won't be able to travel anywhere else this tour.  So if I hear one more set list  complaint  >:(

A DVD would be most ideal. Man I hope they do it.

Oh, no, I am SO excited to see them tomorrow! And I know I'll be way more than just pleased with whatever set they choose. I just commented as Beneath the surface is such a beautiful one! We'll still get 2 acoustic songs, which is great :)

DVD with merge of all songs they perform would be AWESOME!

P.S dongringo, hope you don't mean me as I was NOT complaining, just made a small comment, that's all. Sorry you couldn't make it :(

No worries.  ;) I'm just frustrated that they are playing so close yet so far away at this very moment. Need DVD!

On another note, Did the Moore sell out? Hope so.

I know the feeling SO WELL as most of the bands I like come to Seattle and no Vancouver. Very close, but almost impossible to do in the middle of the week especially when you have 2 kids..
Anyway, I think it was close to sold out. I am looking forward to more comments/reviews!

What would be cool is to see both sets back to back. Talk about encouraging road trips.

Hard to say.  Since they had it in for the first "warmup" leg, it wouldn't surprise me if they dropped it.  But you never know.
