LOL C DRIVE! Now that we've gotten that out of the way, my DVDs aren't burning

So, I have a couple of video files on my computer that I want to put on a DVD to watch on, well, a DVD player. My X-Box 360, other DVD players, etc. I tried putting the disk in, dragging the files over to the DVD and it even seemed to be writing them to the disk. I waited 10 minutes until it said it was done, popped the DVD into my X-Box and nothing. I don't know if I'm not burning them right, my DVDs are not right, etc. I'm 99% positive I have a workable DVD burner. I just have no clue what's up.

If it matters, I'm using Sony DVD-Rs. 4.7GBs.

Anybody know what's up?

What you did is put files onto a disc...that'll work fine if you want to use them on another computer. To watch them on your Xbox you would need to burn a video disc.

Find something that will convert your video file to "DVD format", and then either find a program to make an .iso out of it and burn it, or find a program to do everything altogether.

I suck at computers. As you can tell. Would this work for both, because I have no idea what you mean by "make an iso..."

Um, what you gave I think will just make the files to be burned to the DVD. Why don't you try the link I gave? It looks like it might work.

Delete System32 folder, DVD should burn then.

Seriously, try putting the blank dvd's in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Works for me.
