For me its:

GA1
IKS
YOTBR
GA2
SSTB, although they kick ass live now

Im not ranking Afterman until Descension is released...but if I had to rank Ascension, it'd be first.

I found today that Ascension gets really, really good if you're blasting it while driving. And I mean BLASTING it.  :metal Favorite tracks are Domino, Vic the Butcher, and Goodnight, Fair Lady. The last because, seriously, who the fuck expects Coheed to start channeling Thin Lizzy AND doing it so well. Love that song to death.

Not to mention it sounds like it was lifted directly from Good Apollo 1.

Which is, of course, a very good thing.

For anyone who hasn't gotten their box set yet or isn't getting one at all, here is an unboxing someone did. Only 6 more days until mine arrives according to UPS.

6 days? Did they ship it by horseback or something?

Unless you live overseas... then that's probably reasonable.

Nope not overseas, but UPS doesn't operate on weekends so it's technically just 4 BUSINESS days. They apparently only just started shipping them out mid last week. Mine will be here Thursday.

I haven't got any kind of confirmation mail that mine has shipped so I'm guessing it hasn't. :(

Finally home and unwrapped my boxset. I have never seen,so many names in such small print. Well worth the price, and watching the DVD now it's great.

I really hope they'll play the new album in full.  Its definitely good enough for that, but its short enough that it wouldn't completely dominate the show.  Like, one set of Afterman, followed by a bunch of other songs, plus an encore.

So I'm guessing Afterman in full isn't happening.  But this probably will: https://www.underthegunreview.net/2012/10/30/holy-sht-coheed-and-cambria-between-the-buried-and-me-tour-confirmed/

Just got back from the show... it was excellent, especially the acoustic part at the beginning, which surprisingly ended up being my favorite part of the concert. Pearl of the Stars was beautiful, Claudio's solo acoustic version of the song was much better than the album version in my opinion.

I have been all about Coheed and Cambria as of late. The show in Atlantic City in October has really energized me as a fan. I have tix to both shows in DC and will be getting tix to the NYC show this Friday. I also managed to grab one of the 300 Afterman deluxe box sets that were released. Now the quest is to find some of the comics. I picked up The Amory Wars IKSoSE:3 Ultimate Edition at the AC show and will be looking for more and added The Last Supper DVD to the collection this weekend as well. They are well on the way to being my favorite band at the moment.
